Tony Dorigo hails Leeds 24-year-old who’s “lifted his game” after Burnley win

Tony Dorigo picked out Leeds United’s Jack Harrison as a massive positive from the weekend’s victory against Burnley.

The Whites picked up three more points in the Premier League with an emphatic 4-0 away win at Turf Moor against Burnley.

It means Marcelo Bielsa’s side have an outside shot still of sneaking into the European positions, and they’ve been in great form during the last couple of months.

Dorigo believes that Harrison was a real standout against Burnley.

The 24-year-old attacker showed quick thinking to get on the scoresheet with a flick towards goal, plus he assisted Rodrigo twice when the substitute netted a brace in the second half.

“I think Jack’s been great the last few games. He’s lifted his game up another level. His deliviers into the box, his decision making and passing at the right time, the ball for Rodrigo was superb,” .

TBR’s View:

Harrison, who’s been on another year loan at Leeds this season from Manchester City, was unbelievable in his weekend display.

The left-winger was too much to handle for the opposition with his danger from the flank, as he got himself into goalscoring areas and was clinical.

It’s been a campaign where at times he’s been a tad inconsistent, but eight goals and eight assists in the Premier League is an amazing effort during his first taste of top-flight football in England.

Leeds really do have firepower coming from so many areas of the pitch.
