Todd Boehly makes three Chelsea players ‘priority’ sales and wants £100m
Todd Boehly had made three Chelsea players ‘priority’ sales and wants £100m, according to a recent report.
Since Boehly’s arrival in 2022, Chelsea have been the Premier League’s biggest spenders and quite comfortably.
However, he has also raised a lot of funds through player sales and it seems that model will continue in the fast-approaching window.
That said, he has made three players ‘priority’ sales.

Todd Boehly makes Romelu Lukaku and others ‘priority’ sales
According to , Chelsea are prioritising the sales of Romelu Lukaku, Ian Maatsen and Armando Broja.
Conor Gallagher has also been mooted as a potential departure but isn’t considered a priory sale like the aforementioned trio.
Boehly wants to raise £100m in those sales, with Lukaku potentially generating £38m from his release clause.
Maatsen also had a clause which is worth £35m and Borussia Dortmund are desperate to make his loan deal permanent.
Broja’s stock has dropped following his underwhelming loan at Fulham, so it’s thought most suitors wouldn’t be willing to spend over £20m on his signature.
Chelsea need to sell for FFP
To facilitate incomings, Chelsea will have to sell and they’ll likely want to complete most of their sales before the end of June – when the financial year ends.
That way, it will help to balance the books and ultimately, stay in line with Financial Fair Play regulations.
The Premier League are really clamping down on the ruling and issued points deductions to Everton and Nottingham Forest last term.
So, Chelsea will need to operate shrewdly and trade in the window.
