♐According to , Toby Alderweireld is waiting to see who Daniel Levy appoints to succeed Jose Mourinho before deciding on his future at Tottenham Hotspur amid interest from Club Brugge.

ꦍWith Alderweireld tied down at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a further two years, he risks missing out on a dream return to Belgium without forcing a move away from north London which Mourinho’s departure could now trigger with Club Brugge showing interest.
🉐Levy decided to fire the Portuguese tactician earlier in the year over fears that as many as 10 first-team players, including Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Gareth Bale, could demand transfers (), but in doing so upset Alderweireld who held Mourinho in high regard.
