‘Time running out’… 22-year-old still not convinced to leave Spurs on deadline day
Tottenham Hotspur have been fairly quiet in the latter stages of the January transfer window.
After signing Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin early on, Spurs have largely focused on outgoings.
There could be another Tottenham exit on the cards on transfer deadline day, as Bryan Gil remains linked with a move away.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a Spurs exit all January, with Feyenoord reportedly making an attempt to sign him for the rest of the season.

Brighton have also emerged as potential suitors for the Spaniard, but a new report has now claimed that he may be hesitating over a move to the Seagulls.
Tom Barclay of The Sun has taken to to claim: “Seems Bryan Gil still to be convinced of a loan switch to Brighton. Time running out…”
Bryan Gil struggling for game time at Tottenham Hotspur
Gil has made just 10 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham this term, of which just two have been starts.
Admittedly, the 22-year-old missed eight games at the start of the season due to a groin problem that required surgery.
However, Gil hasn’t been able to force his way into the Spurs team thereafter, suggesting he’s currently surplus to Ange Postecoglou’s requirements.
And it has been like this for most of Gil’s time at Tottenham, sadly.
He has made just four starts in the league for Spurs since joining from Sevilla for in 2021. He has been sent out on loan to Valencia and back to Sevilla in that period.
Let’s see what happens in the coming hours. Brighton would be a good shout as it would give Gil the chance to prove himself in the Premier League, but ultimately it’s up to the player.
