BBC pundit in ‘disbelief’ at what Erik ten Hag kept letting Alejandro Garnacho do during Man United vs Liverpool game

Manchester United managed to pick up a draw against Liverpool yesterday but it seems there’s still room for criticism when it comes to Erik ten Hag’s side.

Liverpool had the upper hand for much of the game but ღcouldn’t capitalise on their chances🥂.

Bruno Fernandes and then Kobbie Mainoo scored two wonderful goals for United before Mo Salah ensured Liver💝pool did at least lea♉ve with a point.

United manager Ten Hag will point to the fact he’s beaten and then drawn with Liverpool in their last twoꦯ meetings.

Danny Murphy unimpressed with Erik ten Hag

One of the big issues that pundits and fans have thrown at United this season is an apparent lack of effort from certain playe♋rs.

And speaking about Ten Hag and actually l✨etting his players g🐈et away with it, MOTD’s Murphy admitted he couldn’t believe what he was seeing when it came to Alejandro Garnacho.

“Desire, discipline and effort. That’ꦛs what I think it is [that’s lacking. And the reason that it’s not there is because it’s not punished when it’s not done. The same players end up playing week in, week out and that’s the manager. You don’t see players doing that for Liverpool and City and Arsenal because they won’t play next week if they don’t do it,” Murphy .

“Ten Hag is on that side where Garnacho 💟is not running back with Robertson time after time. Why is he letting it happen again and again? Why is someone on the pitch not demanding from the other players leadership. You have got to stay with him. Troy and I were watching the game in disbelief.”

Garnacho point sums up Manchester United problems

This is a great observation from Murphy when it comes to G🤡arnacho and even how Ten Hag doesn’t seem to put any stop to it൩.

This has been a theme all season long for United in t🎃erms of fans and pundits picking up on the apparent♛ lack of running from the United players.

Quite ❀simply, this has to change going forward if United are to be successfඣul.

The very best teams, Liverpool, Man City and Arse♑nal all work harder than the rest a♕nd they have managers who drive that culture.

Erik te🐻n Hag, if he is to stay at United, simply has to get a grip on thܫis.
