Tim Sherwood says two Spurs players were completely ‘dominated’ by Everton on Friday
Tottenham Hotspur full-backs Sergio Reguilon and Serge Aurier were “dominated” by Everton in Friday night’s Premier League draw, according to Tim Sherwood.
Jose Mourinho’s Spurs lost further ground on the top four as they had to make do with a share of the spoils at Goodison Park.
Indeed, Tottenham barely created anything in the match, with Harry Kane’s goals coming thanks to mistakes from the opposition defence.

Reguilon gave away a penalty, his challenge on James Rodriguez offering Everton a way back into the game, and offered little going forward too, leading to his substitution on the hour mark.
Aurier, meanwhile, performed better than his teammate on the other flank, but he still didn’t do enough to trouble the Toffees.
Speaking on , Sherwood criticised both full-backs as he assessed Reguilon’s foul on Rodriguez.
“Unfortunately it is like most of the wide defending players Tottenham have, they are better getting forward – defensively leave a lot to be desired, it was a rash decision,” he said.
“They’re meant to be playing three in the back (with wingbacks) … but we’ve hardly seen (Reguilon) or Aurier in the front third. They’ve been dominated.”
Up next for Spurs is Southampton at home on Wednesday, before taking on Manchester City in the League Cup final on Sunday.
