Tim Sherwood says one Liverpool player is such an asset to the Premier League
Tim Sherwood has waxed lyrical about Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, saying it’s a blessing to have him in the Premier League.
The Reds forward has been sensational for Jurgen Klopp’s side since joining in 2017.
On Sunday, Salah registered his 100th Premier League goal, scoring in the 3-0 win over Leeds.

The 29-year-old has scored 98 top-flight goals for Liverpool, plus two while he was at Chelsea.
Salah failed to become a regular for the London side, taking in loans at Fiorentina and Roma.
He then joined the latter permanently in 2016, but just a year later, Liverpool brought him back to the Premier League.
Salah was a crucial member of the Reds team which won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup in 2019.
He then followed that up by helping Liverpool to their first English top-flight title since 1990.

On , Sherwood was asked whether he expected Salah to reach 100 goals when he arrived at Liverpool.
“Really, yes,” he replied. “He should never have left Chelsea.
“We are blessed to have him back in the Premier League and he should never have gone, but he had to go, and he had to develop.”
Salah (162 matches) is the fifth-fastest player ever to reach 100 Premier League goals.
He’s behind only Alan Shearer (124), Harry Kane (141), Sergio Aguero (147) and Thierry Henry (160).
Salah is also the only winger to make it to a century of Premier League goals.
