Tim Sherwood has plenty of criticism for Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele
Tim Sherwood has lambasted Tottenham star Tanguy Ndombele on the , urging him to have a look at himself in the mirror.
Ndombele, 24, has started the last three games for Tottenham, against Rennes, Chelsea and Wolves. Beforehand, he did not play a single minute.
On Wednesday night, Ndombele netted his first goal of 21-22 – but failed to track his runner from a corner and gave the ball away for the second.
Indeed, Ndombele admitted to fans on Instagram on Thursday night that it was not his best game. He could start against Arsenal on Sunday.

Asked about Ndombele, ex-Spurs gaffer Sherwood criticised Ndombele for his fitness and suggested the Frenchman needs to take a look at himself.
“Ndombele can do it, he can drop a shoulder, passing is okay. But then he will let you down and give the ball away in the wrong area,” d.
“Nuno won’t trust him. I like Ndombele, but the boy has to look at himself in the mirror and ask ‘am I doing enough?’.
“No, you’re not doing enough because you’re not fit enough to play Premier League football for 90 minutes every week. That is wrong.”

Sherwood on Ndombele: Tottenham star needs to get fitter
Ndombele is a top talent. Arguably, he is one of the club’s best players when it comes to technical ability and producing magic out of nowhere.
But where Son Heung-min and Harry Kane are better, is in terms of fitness. The ability to last 90 minutes, and play twice every week.
Ndombele cannot even last 90 minutes in one match. While he has started the last three, he has only played 90 minutes once – against Wolves.
It might be, that being handed the entire match against Wolves – in which he was at fault for both Wolves goals – it sees him miss out on Sunday.
Harry Winks was rested, Oliver Skipp impressed, Dele Alli played in the front three and could drop back. Ndombele might miss out.
