Three ways Tottenham have improved under Mauricio Pochettino this season

If you think immediately back to Tottenham’s 2015/16 campaign, it is likely you will conjure images of losing the title to Leicester, finishing behind Arsenal, but ultimately playing some great football and being serious title contenders for most of the season.

This year, on the face of it, they haven’t quite lived up to the billing, with too many draws and defeats in the Champions League taking the sting out of their title challenge.

That said, this time last year they were 5th in the league, and five points off of the top. They are in exactly the same position after eleven games this season. So does that mean they’ve neither improved nor got any worse?
