Three things we learnt from West Brom’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham

West Brom will cause sides problems this season, with star men Chadli and Foster

West Brom sure are a tough nut to crack at the moment. They may not win any prizes for exciting, fluid football, but they are getting some positive results at the moment. They almost robbed Spurs of three points yesterday, and considering the improvement going forward in the second half, this game could well be a catalyst for greater things.

The Baggies have only won one game so far this season, but they have dug in and ground out some crucial draws against some of the relegation fodder so far. If some of their bigger players can step up, and play the way they played against Spurs, expect Pulis’ men to start winning games sooner rather than later.

Goal scorer Nacer Chadli was impressive, and to an even greater extent Ben Foster put in a man of the match performance to limit Spurs to just one. Now the task for Pulis is to get this sort of performance on a weekly basis.
