Leicester City exited the Champions League in valiant fashion as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid at the King Power on Tuesday evening, losing out 2-1 on aggregate.

Needing three second-half goals to over-turn the deficit, Jamie Vardy gave the hosts some hope on the hour mark when he slotted home after chaos inside the Atletico Madrid penalty area.
Leicester pegged the La Liga side back inside their own half as they pushed forward, twice seeing efforts blocked just inches short of the line, but Atletico held out to ensure their semi-final berth.
