Sunderland are going to be one of the busiest sides on deadline day as David Moyes brings in the players that he thinks are required with another relegation battle looming. There is still quality available and it will be interesting to see what business is done at the Stadium of Light. Yesterday, there was disappointment as they failed to bring in a midfielder, desp💞ite trying to sign both Ryan Mason and Vicente Iborra. It has increased the pressure on the club to bring players in today. Here are three players that I think Sunderland should look to bring to the club on deadline ꦉday:
Mamadou Sakho
The Frenchman is available on loan today and there are that he could be set to join Sunderland. His situation at Li🌌verpool is unclear and it isn’t known exactꦐly why Jurgen Klopp wants him to leave. Last season, he was Liverpool’s best defender before his ban and played a vital part in the club’s run to the Europa League final. He has developed a lot since arriving in England and he would be a great signing for Sunderland.
Sunderland lost Younes Kaboul earlier in the win♈dow and they don’t have great depth at centre back. If they sign Sakho, it will be a coup and the Frenchman would walk into their starting eleven. It could have an effect on the future of Lamine Kone who has been linked with a move to Everton. However Sakho would soften the blow as he is a much better player and has experience at the top level. There are doubts about his attitude, but Moyes is popular with his players and it could be a good move for Sakho to rebuild his career.
