Three Rangers-linked players that Gerrard could sign in January

𒈔It is an intriguing period of the season. Rangers sit far ahead of Celtic, but the Hoops are rediscovering their touch. January is now upon us, and the window could prove crucial as the Gers look to go for 55, and prevent 10 in a row.

🌟Steven Gerrard has been very good in the transfer market since arriving at Rangers, forgetting a few flops such as Omar Sadiq among others. January could be crucial in finding a player that can keep Rangers at the top.

𒈔Here are three players recently linked with a move to Ibrox that Gerrard could look to sign:

ꦅScotland international, ex-Aberdeen and current Norwich City technician McLean has proven he can hack it down south. He helped Norwich gain promotion in his first season, and then played 37 of their 38 Premier League games.

🃏With 17 Scotland caps to his name, McLean would be an excellent addition to an already-strong Rangers midfield. say a move to sign the Canary in January is a possibility, and he certainly would be a top addition.

✅The Newcastle United winger returned to The Toon in the summer after a loan at Sheffield Wednesday and has played 11 times in all competitions for Steve Bruce’s side – scoring two and creating two more.

🍒But the £12million () signing is about to enter the final six months of his contract and that means Rangers could get him on a pre-contract from January 1. Rangers are keen, but he wants a new Newcastle deal.

Bilal Brahimi

🌌Having left Middlesbrough for Stade Reims, 20-year-old Brahimi is now on loan at third-tier side Le Mans and impressing – with six goals in 16 outings. A low standard, but Brahimi is finally showcasing his potential.

🍃 Rangers are battling Stuttgart and Lens – both who are in the top tier of German and French football – to sign Brahimi. His loan expires next summer, but a January move could still be possible.
