Three potential destinations for Lucas Perez should he seek an Arsenal exit

Lucas Perez’s Arsenal future has been thrown into doubt after revelations that he is unhappy at the Emirates and wants to leave the club, as his agent Rodrigo Fernandez Llovelle reportedly told :

“Lucas wants to leave at any cost. He’s not happy at Arsenal, he’s not settled in and he hasn’t had the chance to play and to prove himself. He’s not received any offers yet. If Lucas leaves London, which he will, since he’s not had any chances under Arsene Wenger, he will want to go play for another important club, one as important as Arsenal… Wenger? It doesn’t matter who the new Coach is, we want to leave: he [Lucas] needs to have the chance to play.”

A summer signing from Spanish side Deportivo A Coruna, the forward, who can also play out wide on the left, has made just two Premier League starts and is yet to complete a full 90 minutes in red and white in the league for the club. Having cost £17 million on the penultimate day of the transfer window in the summer, the club could now look to move him on if he is unhappy and demands to leave.

That said, he could be an exciting option for a number of clubs, particularly given his record of six goals and three assists in nine starts in all competitions this season. There has been nothing to suggest that he has failed to adapt to life in the Premier League, with plenty of strength in addition to his pace and good finishing.

At 28-years-old, youth may not be on the Spaniard’s side, but he could well make a good addition for a number of sides across Europe and still has plenty left in the tank and will certainly attract plenty of attention between now and the end of the season.
