Three players Leicester City should target during the January transfer window
Wilfred Ndidi
It’s undeniable that since N’Golo Kante left Leicester in the summer to join Chelsea, there has been a huge void in the Foxes’ midfield that has yet to be filled.
It’s also undeniable how important Kante was to this Leicester side, who have slipped down the wrong end of the table ever since the French international left to go to London; and it seems that Ranieri is wasting no time in acting on this, ahead of the transfer window.
Ndidi, like Bailey, plays for Belgian side Genk, and it is being said that the teenager has with the Foxes after undergoing a medical at the Club in November.
Ndidi is known for being an athletic defensive midfielder, much like Kante, and he has made a name for himself in the Belgium for his willingness to never stop running.
The Nigerian began last season as a centre-back, but switched to central midfield and became arguably Genk’s most important player with his ability to cover ground and break up opposition moves.
