Three signings Everton should still make this summer
It is now just under three weeks until Everton face Tottenham Hotspur on the opening day of the Premier League season.
Luckily; or perhaps unluckily, for Ronald Koeman, there are still several weeks after that before the summer transfer window slams shut.
Most of the transfer news surrounding Everton Football Club during this window has been whether or not the likes of Romelu Lukaku, John Stones and Ross Barkley will remain at the club, so in some ways, their new Dutch manager will be keen for the window to slam shut as soon as possible.
Much of the club’s transfer business will most likely depend on who leaves Goodison Park this summer, but with ‘keeper Maarten Stekelenburg the only notable signing so far, there are still players Koeman should look at.

Kalidou Koulibaly
The Napoli defender has been linked with a move to the Premier League since the start of the window.
However, it was another team in blue that have been linked with the centre-back throughout the summer.
With Chelsea manager Antonio Conte declaring his commitment to John Terry as his captain, and Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma already at the club, Koulibaly may favour a move to Everton, but the allure of Chelsea will still be a challenge to overcome for the Merseysiders.
Koeman has currently has Phil Jagielka, John Stones and Ramiro Funes Mori at Goodison Park, but with Jagielka 33-years-old and Stones looking likely to be on his way to Manchester City, Koulibaly would be a strong addition.
Napoli conceded just 32 league goals last season, with Koulibaly providing height and strength whilst showcasing the ability to pass and play out from the back – a key trait for a modern day centre-half.
It will be a tricky battle to bring the defender to Everton with a club like Chelsea also interested, but the guarantee from Ronald Koeman of a starting berth in the team could lure him to Goodison Park.
