Three players Arsenal should target during the January transfer window

After missing out on Julian Draxler, Arsenal may have to turn their attention across the capital to find a new attacking midfielder capable of firing them to the league title, and one name linked has come straight out of left field.
West Ham midfielder Dimitri Payet has recently admitted that playing for Arsenal would be ‘fun,’ prompting rumours of a possible transfer across London to the Emirates Stadium.
Slaven Bilic will do his best to resist selling – Payet is far and away his best player and his squad is sub-par at best – but if Arsenal put the pressure on with a large bid, it may encourage West Ham to sell up and reinvest the money in a more balanced squad.
Payet would certainly add to the Arsenal team in terms of set pieces, and his wicked deliveries could help them get over the line in games where they are far from clinical, games which normally cost them over the course of a season.
It would be a big coup for the Gunners and certainly expensive, but watch this space.
