Three key stats ahead of Manchester United vs Sunderland
Everything seems to finally be coming together for Manchester United now. After an awful run of form which saw them drop into the clutches of mid-table, they are now back challenging for a spot in the Champions League places after three very impressive wins on the spin.
As for Sunderland, a win over Watford last time out (their fourth in seven games) saw them climb to 18th and just one point behind Crystal Palace, who have changed their manager since the last round of fixtures. The Black Cats have only won once on the road all season, but David Moyes will be keen to get one over the club who sacked him after less than a year in charge.
Here are three key stats ahead of the game.
7 – Zlatan in form
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has shown he is still a world class centre forward since his free transfer to Manchester United, and is well in the running for the Golden Boot with 11 to his name.
More impressively, the previous seven of those goals have come from a mere eight shots on target, giving him a conversion rate of almost 87.5%.
Sunderland will not be able to give him a sniff.
