Three key Arsenal players ruled out of Porto clash after missing training

Arsenal will be without three key players when they travel to Porto for their last-16 Champions League clash tomorrow night.

The Gunners will be boosted by the returnsꦜ of Thomas Paജrtey and Fabio Vieira, with both players in training on Tuesday morning.

But according to , there were three notable absentees, with Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu all likely to miss the clash against Porto.

The Standard claims that Arteta w🌠ill have to do without Jesus, Zinchenko and Tomiyasu tomorrow eve🎃ning.

All three plaꦿyers are set to miss out through injury, with Jesus still recovering from a knee injury.

As for Zinchenko, he’s missed the past two games after picking up a calf♏ injury agai𝐆nst Liverpool.

Tomiyasu is yet to make an appearance for Arsenal in 2024 after recently returning from the Asian Cup and will also miss out due to a calf issue.ꩲ

Arse✨nal aren’t exactly blessed with a wealth of options in defence at the moment and the absences of Tomiyasu and Zinchenko are far from idea♈l.

With games set to🐎 come thick and fast from here on out,𓂃 Arteta will be hoping the duo make a speedy recovery.

As for Jesus, the Gunners have coped well in his ab𒈔sence, with Leandro Trossard stepping into the No9 role.

But should Arsenaꦰl advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League as expected, Arteta’s squad depth could prove vital towards the eꦚnd of the season.

The Gunn🌞ers will have to cope with the added pressure of playing two times a week over the coming months.🌠

Arsenal have looked exceptional in recent weeks. But you get the feeling that the Champions League will pose a fresh challenge for Arteta to overcome and should he have a full squad at his disposal soon, they𝓀 will stand a much bette🃏r chance of succeeding domestically and in Europe.
