Three biggest Tottenham surprise packages of 2021: Lloris included
Four managers, one cup final defeat, one striker transfer saga, and hopefully the last venture into the Europa Conference League, Tottenham Hotspur fans may not particularly mind seeing the back of 2021.
Spurs appear to go into 2022 in a much better place. With Antonio Conte at the helm, Tottenham appear to have put themselves right in the mix for the top four this season. And there is plenty of excitement about where they could end up under the Italian.

The Frenchman has previously come in for criticism in recent seasons. And some may have assumed that he was coming towards the end of his career at the highest level. However, he ended last season in superb form, bailing Tottenham out on a number of occasions. And he is now being linked with a new contract beyond this campaign.
Ben Davies

Oliver Skipp

But surely, few could have foreseen just how quickly he would establish himself as a key man back at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The reception he received when he came on against Liverpool this month was amazing. And it highlighted just how important he has now become.
