Arsenal fans can look forward to this weekend’s clash with Brentford knowing that a certain Thomas Partey is back and ready for action.
The Ghana international has been missing for the last month or so through injury and with Mo Elneny also picking up a knock, Partey’s return to being considered for selection is timely for Mikel Arteta. Certainly, there have been questions over whether Partey will make this weekend’s clash with Brentford. But looking at the latest training pictures, all roads point to Partey being involved.
Images released on Getty show Partey taking full part in training and have even suggested he is in line to start the game against the Bees.
Of course, Partey’s return to the fold is massive for the Gunners and while it comes just before a two week international break, there will be plenty of optimism around London Colney.
The Gunners have climbed to the top of the PL table without Partey and his return will only enhance their chances of maintaining that form.
TBR’s View: Partey Crucial For Arsenal Success
The Gunners are a better team with the ‘fantastic‘ Partey involved and if he can start this weekend or play some part at least, then it’s a big step forward.
Arsenal will need to utilise all their squad this season to enjoy any form of success and Partey will be key to that. He’s shown in the past he has qualities few others possess at Arsenal and when fully fit, he is a starter.
It feels a big game for Arsenal against Brentford. If they can win and go into the int’l break top of the pile, then there’ll be a real belief around London Colney.
