Thomas Frank tells Tottenham not to loan out ‘phenomenal’ player, he is part of his plans
Tottenham have been active behind the scenes in recent weeks, making significant changes ahead of the new season.
The club sacked Ange Postecoglou, with chairman Daniel Levy appointing Thomas Frank as his successor.
Joining Frank at Spurs is Justin Cochrane, who will serve as his assistant. Cochrane’s arrival is particularly exciting given his strong reputation in youth development and is expected to greatly benefit the club’s emerging talents.
One of those youngsters is Mikey Moore, who was outstanding during his breakthrough campaign last season. Moore is now set to be rewarded with a new contract.

Journalist Alan Nixon states on that Frank has told Tottenham to reject any loan offers for Phillips amid interest from Sheffield United and Stoke City.
The new Spurs manager rates the youngster highly and has made him part of his plans for next season.
Nixon adds that several clubs were keen on signing him on loan, but Frank put them off as he wants to have a bigger squad going into next season,n with Spurs competing on multiple fronts, including the Champions League.
Ashley Phillips is ready for Tottenham after impressive loan spells
Phillips was signed by Tottenham in August 2023 from Blackburn Rovers.
He joined Plymouth Argyle on loan in January 2024, where he was ‘phenomenal‘, playing a key role in helping the club avoid relegation and earning their Young Player of the Season award.
After a successful loan spell at Plymouth, he was sent on loan to Championship side Stoke City for further development last summer.
While the club struggled overall, he once again impressed with his individual performances, with Phillips earning praise from Narcis Pelach, former Stoke City manager.
Dejan Kulusevski has also praised Phillips, backing him to be ready when called upon.
With plenty of Championship experience under his belt, Phillips is going to be ready to step up for Spurs.
