‘This year’… Roy Keane now shares who he thinks will win the league – Man City or Arsenal

The title race in the Premier League is really heating up now with Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City all in the mix.

Liverpool are flying, with Jurgen Klopp’s men losing just one game so far this season, Manchester City dropped more points against Aston Villa on Wednesday, and Arsenal are currently top of the league.

It would take a brave man to predict this title race, and, as you can imagine, Roy Keane was more than happy to give his verdict on this situation speaking on .

Despite the fact City have been in poor form as of late, Keane is still backing the reigning champions to go on and win the title again this term.

Keane says Man City will still win the league

The pundit gave his verdict on who will win the league.

“I’d still go with Man City, but if I was in Arsenal’s camp and you compare the squad to last season, you’d be more encouraged this year for Arsenal than I was last year, last year I wasn’t budging on City, but this year I’d be a bit more cautious this year than I was last year. I think Arsenal are a stronger squad,” Keane said.

Need to buck up their ideas

City are undoubtedly still the best team in the league on their day, but they need to buck up their ideas soon if they’re going to win the title.

They’ve now dropped points in four consecutive games, and if that continues, they may have too much of a gap to make up to Arsenal and Liverpool in the new year.

Of course, we’ve seen on numerous occasions that City are capable of going on these crazy winning runs that leave everyone else in their dust, but it could just be one season too many for City.

The title race this season is certainly shaping up to be very interesting.
