‘This is why Grealish shouldn’t leave’: Some Aston Villa fans react to footage of McGinn

Aston Villa fans have reacted on Twitter to John McGinn nutmegging Louie Barry in training and then wheeling off in celebration by taking his top off. 

In the stands, the Villa fans are pretty disheartened, at this moment in time, in regards to what they are hearing about Jack Grealish’s future at the club.

But out on the training pitch, the mood, the vibe and the togetherness between the Villa players is as strong as ever, which McGinn aptly demonstrated. 

Villa fans praised their all-action midfielder for cheering them up during this gloom they are currently going through.

McGinn may be about to lose one of his best friends, but that’s not stopping him from enjoying himself in training. 

Whilst the Scotland international managed to nutmeg and get the better of Barry, he was on the receiving end of one himself not so long ago.

Another academy product – Jacob Ramsey – was the one providing the megs last time, but McGinn wasn’t having any of it.

McGinn may have disputed what happened with Ramsey the other day, but one thing is for certain, he got the better of Barry here.

And Villa fans loved every second of what they saw.

Grealish has been the poster boy for Villa, the boyhood fan who the fans can relate to.

And if he makes his move to Manchester City then McGinn might just be the guy to take his throne.
