‘This is what happens’: Gary Neville rips into Mikel Arteta for Arsenal v Brentford moment
Aaron Ramsdale had a heart in mouth moment in the first-half for Arsenal v Brentford tonight and Gary Neville has slammed Mikel Arteta.
The Arsenal manager has been forced into playing Ramsdale in net as David Raya is ineligible to face his parent club.
The England stopper looked confident coming out and in the warm up. However, he nearly had a disaster just 15 minutes into the game as he tried to play out from the back.

Ramsdale tried to control the ball and got tangled before Yoane Wissa tried to turn the ball home with Bryan Mbuemo only for Declan Rice to save the day.
And commenting over on social media, Sky pundit Neville was not impressed.
Gary Neville slams Arteta for Aaron Ramsdale moment v Brentford
Commenting on his, Neville appeared to take aim at the Arsenal boss.
Neville and others have been calling this for weeks and it took only minutes of tonight’s game for it to come true.
The pressure on Ramsdale is now crazy and Arteta has made a right old mess of the whole situation with David Raya.
Ramsdale needs to make sure he keeps his cool for the rest of the game but come January, he needs to get up on out of Arsenal and go and play football somewhere.
Had Arteta just dealt with this in an honest way then there’d be no issue. But his constant, what is effectively lying to the press, about the situation, has made it a real issue now.
Ramsdale will just hope to get through the game no issues. But from there, it’s time to look at moving on.
