‘This is a joke’: Arsenal fans react on Twitter to links with Diego Costa
Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news that Diego Costa is apparently a target for the Gunners in the January window.
Costa is now free to sign for a new club after coming to terms on his departure from Atletico, and claimed yesterday that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was said to be monitoring the situation.

A former Chelsea striker with two Premier League winners medals to his name, Costa would certainly bring experience and knowhow to the table if Arsenal did make their move.
However, judging by some of the reaction from Arsenal fans on Twitter, it seems the Spaniard wouldn’t be overly welcome in north London.
Comparisons to the signing of Willian, plus concerns over his age, were dominant points of discussion among some Gunners supporters discussing the potential move on social media.
This is a joke
Don’t take it seriously— ChI de Gunner💙 (@TeddyReign)
If this true, arsenal hasnt learnt the lesson from signings of washed up experience players like Willian & luiz

Can we get more serious on the transfers and stop taking Chelsea rejects???

If arsenal go for his signature, then the board is a problem. Why always go for for over 30yrs old deadwoods?

Please stop. We don’t want him. We are well over our quota for washed up Brazilians who have played for Chelsea.

Another 30-something whose best years are behind him ready to hop on the Arsenal gravy train
