‘This guy’s luck’, ‘What a shame’: Some Leeds fans ‘gutted’ after Euro 2020 update regarding 27-year-old
Some Leeds United fans have been reacting after Spain international Diego Llorente tested positive for Coronavirus.
In a post on their Twitter page, the Spanish Football Federation confirmed the defender had left the squad in a medicalised vehicle to self-isolate.
He’s the second player from the Spain national team to test positive for the virus after captain Sergio Busquets.
The midfielder tested positive last Sunday just eight days before the nation’s first game against Sweden.
Llorente finished last season with a flourish, helping the Whites to six wins out of nine Premier League games. It cemented his place in the Euro 2020 squad for the upcoming tournament.

His end to last season was simply phenomenal as the Yorkshire outfit cruised to a midtable finish in the top-flight.
Llorente seemed a certainty to play a big part for his country this summer.
However, Coronavirus means he’ll have to watch from the sidelines for atleast the first game.
