‘Better than Grealish’: Some Man City fans loved ‘demon’ display from 2017 arrival in 1-0 win

Man City continued their winning run with a big against Leicester City.

The reigning Premier League champions have struggled against the Foxes in recent years. City lost 5-2 to Leicester last year, yet things were different this time around for Pep Guardiola’s side.

A fast-paced encounter at the King Power Stadium was separated by a single goal from Bernardo Silva 62 minutes in. With Joao Cancelo and Ederson Moraes playing key roles in keeping a clean sheet for City.

The result made it three wins in the last four Premier League games for City as well as three clean sheets, with the result against Leicester putting the Manchester giants third in the standings.

Indeed, Man City appear to be back to their usual best with this good result against Leicester. And Silva’s goal and overall performance was a stark reminder to supporters that he still has something to offer to this side despite reports over the summer.

The 2017 summer signing was linked with a move away from Manchester, with Atletico Madrid and Arsenal both keen on Silva. However, the playmaker stayed at City.

Indeed, the former AS Monaco star impressed against Leicester, and Man City fans on social media are buzzing with Silva’s display against the Foxes.
