Thierry Henry suggests no-one talks about how good Arsenal player is off the ball
Thierry Henry suggests that few actually talk about how good one Arsenal player is off the ball, claiming that he is second to none in that part of the game.
Of course, Arsenal are absolutely flying right now. Mikel Arteta’s side ha✅ve been in sensational form this season, hitting top gear at seemingly the perfect time after coming so close to winning the Premier League title last season.
Several players have stepped up of late. And few have been more impressive in recent weeks than Martin Odegaard.
Thierry Henry lauds Martin Odegaard
Odegaard rarely has a bad game for Arsenal.🔯 And he now has six goals and seve💎n assists in the Premier League this term.

Rightly, the Norwegian has received all kinds of plaudits for his performances. B🎃ut perhaps there is a side to his game which deserves a lot more credit♏.
Speaking on Monday Night Football (broadcast on ; 4/3; 18:40), Thierry Henry noted – while analysing the way Arsenal won the ball back before Bukayo Saka scored against Newcastle – that Odegaar🗹d works so hard for the team out of possession.
“I’m going to point at Kai Havertz. He does ever so well. Odegaard again, every time we talk about him, on the ball. What he doe💯s off ♍the ball is second to none,” he said.
“He knows that Guimaraes cannot get the ball, Havertz. And Declan Rice will not let Longstaff have 🔜the ball. He is aware that that ball cannot go right there. This time, he gets it.”
Game-changing signing for Arsenal
Odegaard is 𒈔such a clever player. It is still remarkable to think that he is only 25 years of age given that he has been around for so long. And he has been a real leader throughout his time at Arsenal.
What is frightening is that he c꧙ould still improve further. He is still young. And this Arsenal side should only continue to get better as the players pick up more experience of playing in these big games.
Signing Odegaard was definitely a key moment in Arsenal’s progression from a mid-tabಌl⭕e side into genuine title contenders.
