‘They have incredible attitudes’: Arteta praises two Arsenal players he could reportedly sell very soon

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has praised both Sead Kolasinac and Ainsley Maitland-Niles, despite their futures being in doubt, .
On the way out?
The Telegraph have suggested that Arsenal could sell both Kolasinac and Maitland-Niles before the end of the week.
However, they were both included in the Gunners’ team to face West Bromwich Albion last night.
Kolasinac started the fixture while Maitland-Niles came off the bench, as Arsenal cruised to a 6-0 victory at the Hawthorns.
After the game, Arteta was asked about the reportedly available pair.
And he said: “As you say, this is speculation. While they are here we try to treat everybody as good as we can, give them minutes. They have incredible attitudes so when we can reward them with minutes because they deserve that.”
Strong commitment
Kolasinac and Maitland-Niles should indeed be commended for their commitment to the cause last night, despite speculation over their own futures.
Kolasinac, in particular, put in some typically robust challenges in a solid display.

It seems unlikely that either of the pair could change Arteta’s mind now, but Maitland-Niles arguably has the better chance of breaking back into Arsenal’s plans.
The Gunners are short of right-back options and while Maitland-Niles does prefer to play in midfield, he could become a possibility to play in the position, if he sticks around.
Arsenal are next in action on Saturday against Manchester City, but it remains to be seen whether either of the pair will be included in the squad – or even at the club – at that stage.
