‘They bring so much’: Heung-min Son blown away by how hard two Tottenham players work

Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min has lavished praise on his new teammates Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.
Spurs completed deals to sign the two talented players from Juventus in the January transfer window. A lot was said then about how they weren’t Antonio Conte’s preferred options, but both of them have fared incredibly well under the Italian over the last six weeks.
Son, who starred for Spurs in their recent derby win over West Ham United, sat down for an interview with the official matchday programme.
He was asked about the two Tottenham new boys and the ex-Leverkusen man had nothing but good things to say.
Son Heung-min blown away by Kulusevski and Bentancur’s work rate
The South Korean said, as per : “I’m really enjoying playing alongside them (Kulusevski and Bentancur).
“They obviously came here from having been playing in one of the best teams in the world, so they have great experience, and they bring so much positive energy,
“They have a great work rate and a great attitude, which is always needed.
“Both of them are doing really well, so I hope that continues. They support us so well as a team and I want to help them as well to fully settle in the Premier League and at Tottenham.”

TBR View:
One of the main requirements of an Antonio Conte side is that every player must possess an incredible work rate.
The Italian demands his lads to work extremely hard day in, day out, and not everyone can sustain that level of intensity.
Going by Son’s comments, it looks like Bentancur and Kulusevski are up for it. Both players would’ve seen Conte’s Inter Milan closely during their time in Italy and they would’ve been prepared to fight for everything before they even joined Tottenham at the end of the January transfer window.
The two former Juventus boys have done really well so far and under Conte, they will only get better in the coming weeks and months.
