There’s now a 50% chance Tottenham’s ‘fantastic’ player leaves before deadline day
Tottenham feel like the only team in the Premier League doing any business this month, and they may not be finished yet.
Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner have both arrived at Spurs already, while there has also been movement in terms of outgoings as Hugo Lloris and Eric Dier have both departed.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has also been linked with a move away from Tottenham, and according to Jack Pitt-Brooke, speaking on , the Danish midfielder could well be on the move this summer, giving a 50% chance that the ‘’ midfielder does leave this month.

Hojbjerg could leave
The journalist shared his verdict on the midfielder’s future.
“It’s within the realms of possibility that these guys will get injured and they would need Hojbjerg again. Maybe Tottenham would want to keep him, I’m not sure. Gallagher I would say is unlikely to happen, I might regret saying that later, but Hojbjerg is more of a 50/50 situation, but the big question around Hojbjerg is who comes in for him and with what money,” Pitt-Brooke said.
Difficult
There’s a real chance that Hojbjerg does leave Spurs this month, but this deal may well be difficult to sign off.
Indeed, as much as this would be a move that suits both the club and the player, finding a club willing to spend cash on Hojbjerg at the moment won’t be easy.
Nobody is doing business at the moment. The cash tap seems to have been turned off in football as Profit and Sustainability rules start to really take hold.
Hojbjerg may well want to leave Tottenham for more gametime, and Spurs may want to cash in, but finding a willing buyer is not going to be easy before the end of this month.
It will be interesting to see whether or not anyone makes an offer for Hojbjerg before the end of the month.
