‘There is an offer Club president claims interest in Tottenham-linked striker
Ahmet Nur Cebi has confirmed via that Besiktas have received an offer for reported Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United target Cyle Larin.
But the Black Eagles President has no plans to sell the centre-forward, as the offer received was not enough. Larin has been linked with clubs from across Europe, having enjoyed a stellar campaign in front of goal last season.
The Canadian scored across all competitions, with his 19 Super Lig strikes helping Besiktas edge Galatasaray to the title. Sergen Yalcin’s squad won the Turkish top-flight on goal difference to their Istanbul rivals.

West Ham saw a 0m (£8.5m) bid for Larin rejected in January while he sought to leave Besiktas, per . The Hammers remained interested following the winter market, but the Black Eagles want closer to 5m (£13m).
Tottenham are also aware of Larin’s situation with the striker entering the final year of his contract, according to . Chairman Daniel Levy is keeping tabs of the Canadian’s situation, with clubs in Germany and France also keen.
But Besiktas have no plans to part with Larin and will hold firm if the offers are not enough.
“There is an offer for Larin, but we do not intend to sell,Cebi . We want to keep our squad. Ersin [Destanolgu] is also included. An offer may come from Nice. Players are not given just because there is an offer. The numbers we are facing are not satisfactory./p>
TBR’s view: Tottenham should pursue Larin transfer
Besiktas will rightly want to retain Larin after he formed a dominant strike force with Vincent Aboubakar last season, but Levy should pursue a deal for Tottenham this summer.
Larin would offer the next Spurs manager, likely Paulo Fonseca, a top-draw backup to Harry Kane. The centre-forward would add a wealth of goals to the squad, and has proven his ability on the international scene.
Larin has found the net 13 times for Canada, including five times in his past four appearances. His Super Lig strikes last season also included scoring against Istanbul Basaksehir and helped Besiktas do the double by winning the Turkish Cup.
