There is an ‘increasing possibility’ that Trent Alexander-Arnold leaves Liverpool after recent developments

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s Liverpool future remains up in the air.

The Liverpool defender is into the final year of his contract at Anfield, and Alexander-Arno🤪ld is being seriously courted by Real Madrid at the moment.

Alexander-Arnold’s future is unclear at Anfield, and while Liverpool are trying🐬 their hardest to keep🙈 the defender, they may be fighting a losing battle.

Sadly, Alexander-Arnold’s long-term future may be away from Merseyside despite his love and affection𒅌 for Liverpool.

Indeed, according to Robin Bairner, speaking on The Transfers Podcast, it’s starting to become increasingly likely that A𒁏lexander-Arnold is going to sign for Real Madrid next summer.

Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid is becoming more likely

Bairner shared what he knows about Ale🅘xander-Arnold.

The journalist says that it’s increasingly expected that the full-back won’t sign a new deal at Liverpool and it is increasingly possible that𝓡 a move to Madrid could✤ be on the cards.

“That🍨’s also the case with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, who wasn’t necessarily a player that they were going to go and move for. But with it becoming increasingly expected that he’s not going to sign a new deal with Liverpool, it seems thatജ he is starting to become an increasing possibility to sign at Real Madrid. These are two (Alexander-Arnold and Alphonso Davies) very typical Real Madrid signings in terms of their profile and the attacking qualities, particularly that they would bring to the team.”

Who else could leave Liverpool?

Alexand🌼er-Arnold potentially being on his way out is seriously bad news for Liverp꧒ool, but, more worryingly, he may not be the only impending departure at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah’s contract is also up this summer, and Salah has been a long-♐term target for 🦩the Saudi Pro League.

Meanwhile, Virgil van Dijk’s contract is also expiring in 2025, but things do see more positive on that front as Van Dijk has claimed tha🐎t contract tal♈ks are ongoing.

As for other players who could leave, Caoimhin Kelleher has expressed that he’s unhappy withಞ hi💞s current situation, while J🎃oe Gomez was apparently looking at options away from Liverp𝔉ool in the summer.

The Reds had a quiet transfer window in 🍒the sum🍃mer of 2024, but there’s reason to believe there could be serious changes afoot at Anfield next year.
