There could be added pressure for West Ham new boy in 2019/20
West Ham United completed a £24 million deal for Pablo Fornals last week (), and fans are excited to see what he brings in 2019/20.
The attacking midfielder put pen to paper on a five-year deal, with an option for a further 12 months.
He is the club’s third signing of the summer following the free arrivals of goalkeepers Roberto and David Martin.

Fornals arrives with a big reputation.
The silky Spaniard is known for his array of tricks and impressive playmaking abilities which could make him a hit at the London Stadium.
Fornals signing for West Ham will surely see the club abandon their pursuit of Dani Ceballos, so Fornals must ensure the club were right to put their trust in him.
TBR’s view
Ceballos was linked with a move to the London Stadium before Fornals was mentioned (), and many had hoped the Real Madrid star would join. Some still do
It hasn’t really worked out for the talented playmaker at the Bernabeu, and it has been suggested he’ll be one of many players to be sold this summer.

With West Ham having now signed Fornals though, it’s difficult to see them getting Ceballos too.
The pair play in the similar position so it could be a fairly pointless transfer.
Given Ceballos’ own reputation, it could mean the pressure is on for Fornals to deliver – to show the club he was the right investment rather than his Spanish U21 teammate.
