The former Rangers and Scotland international striker has noted how different Martinelli is.
So, what has Kris Boyd said about Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli? Let’s take a look.
Praise for Arsenal and Brazil star Gabriel Martinelli
Well, Kris Boyd has been raving about Gabriel Martinelli. The former Rangers and Scotland international striker has said that the Brazil international winger is different.
The pundit has noted that the 22-year-old, who cost Arsenal just £6 million in transfer fees in 2019 (), has got the X-factor.

Boyd said on : “People speak about Saka and the impact that he has had in the team, Gabriel Jesus, they are a far better team when he is in it, and also Martinelli, the pace that he has got.
“I know Trossard has come in and has done well, Havertz had done well, but Martinelli for me has just got the X factor. He does something different. He is like Saka on the other side. He scores goals, he assists.”
Gabriel Martinelli could become world class
In my view, Arsenal and Brazil international winger Gabriel Martinelli has the potential to become world class.
I believe that Martinelli has the quality and talent to become one of the best players in the world. Jorginho rates him highly.
The 22-year-old winger is full of tricks and is very quick. He also makes the right decisions and is still growing and developing as a footballer.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp rates Martinelli highly. That is a huge testament to how good the winger already is.
Martinelli has made 105 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The winger has scored 27 goals and given 14 assists in those games.
The Brazilian forward has made 11 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season.
Martinelli has scored one goal and provided two assists in those games. The youngster has also scored two goals and given one assist in three UEFA Champions League matches for Arsenal.
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 33 points from 14 matches. The North London club are two points clear of second-placed Liverpool and are three points ahead of defending champions Manchester City, who are third.
