The two senior players Tottenham are looking to sell this week before deadline passes

Tottenham Hotspur head into the final week of the transfer window with their squad in good shape.

Spurs have adequate cover in almost every position at this point, and, if anything, the squad is slightly bloated at the moment.

Indeed, Tottenham are now said to be focused on outgoings more than incomings, and according to Sky Sports’ Michael Bridge, speaking on Last Word on Spurs, there are still two senior players Spurs want to sell this week.

The two senior players Tottenham still want to sell

Bridge named Giovani Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon as players Tottenham want to sell before deadline day.

“They’re trying to find a solution for Giovani Lo Celso. He had interest from MLS, but he turned that down, which I think was probably wise from him. That was interesting when I was told about that. Lo Celso and Reguilon are the two senior players they’re looking to move on before Friday,” Bridge said.

Lo Celso and Reguilon should get moves

Giovani Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon are both for sale in the final week of the transfer window, and it shouldn’t be too difficult for Spurs to find buyers for these two players.

Reguilon was solid last season on loan at both Brentford and Manchester United, and he has plenty to offer in that left-back slot.

Reguilon has even been linked with a move to Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Lo Celso was one of Spurs’ best players for a short period last term, and he remains a key player for Argentina.

Lo Celso has proven his credentials all over Europe, and he would be a great addition to many teams who are still in the market for a new midfield player.

Don’t be surprised if both Lo Celso and Reguilon end up leaving Spurs in the final days of this transfer window.

Who knows? Perhaps these departures could open the door for more additions at Spurs before Friday.
