The Tottenham player who should feel aggrieved if Jerome Boateng signs
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a move for Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng.
, the north Londoners are in a three-way battle with Arsenal and Chelsea about a possible free transfer for the centre-back next summer.
Bayern are happy to let Boateng depart, although it is thought the player would like to extend his nine-year stay at the Allianz Arena.
Boateng, 32, has won a host of trophies with the Bavarian juggernaut, but it can be argued the player’s peak years are long behind him.
It remains to be seen if Spurs will actually make a move, but there is one player who can surely feel a little aggrieved if the club do move to bring him in.
Japhet Tanganga has kind of been forgotten having made just one appearance in 2020/21.
The 21-year-old has been nursing a thigh injury and has faded into the shadows as a result.

Last term Mourinho trusted £25,000-a-week star Tanganga () on a number of occasions to play out of position over the likes of Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose, further suggesting how much he likes him.
If Mourinho went and landed Boateng, a man who has had injury problems and is past his peak, Tanganga would have reason to feel a tad disappointed given the glowing way his manager has previously spoken about him.
