Rangers head into the international break at the top of the Scottish Premiership and things are looking promising.
Steven Gerrard is assembling a strong Rangers squad and he has been busy in every transfer window. It could be more of the same in January with players coming in and going out.
Here are three Rangers players at risk of being axed by Gerrard unless they can convince him otherwise in the next two months.
Eros Grezda

Grezda looks like a nailed-on departure this January. The Albanian winger has had a disastrous spell at Rangers after joining from Osijek. For the sake of his career, he needs to leave.
The 24-year-old has only played 17 games for Rangers since joining in summer 2018. His form has been concerning and his time in Scotland is surely coming to an end.
Jamie Barjonas

Barjonas is a versatile youngster who has been playing well for Rangers reserves. But the 20-year-old does not seem to be close to winning a promotion to the first-team.
With just nine appearances to his name, Barjonas faces a battle to convince Gerrard to include him this season. It could be a loan or permanent move awaiting him in January.
Greg Docherty

Docherty excelled on loan at Shrewsbury Town last season, leading many to tip him for a Rangers breakthrough this season. But the ex-Hamilton midfielder has only played five times and has not made an appearance in the league.
Gerrard seems to prefer his other midfield options with Docherty only making the bench once in the Scottish Premiership matches. The 23-year-old will not be short of suitors in England or elsewhere in Scotland after last season.
