The three contracts Liverpool are trying to extend now after Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk

TBR Football can exclusively reveal that Liverpool are in talks to extend three more playerscontracts after Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.

The Reds confirmed on Friday that their Egyptian superstar has put pen to paper over a new deal. TBR revealed recently that Van Dijk will sign a new contract too.

That is great news for everyone associated with the club, even though there is disappointment that Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave and join Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Liverpool’s focus now is on more contract renewals, and three players could follow Salah and Van Dijk in penning new deals.

Liverpool in talks with Ibrahima Konate and two other players over new contracts

TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Liverpool are in talks to extend the contracts of Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones and Conor Bradley.

The Premier League leadersfull focus over the last year has been on tying down Salah, Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold to new terms.

They have been successful on two of those deals, and now, Richard Hughes is working on securing the futures of three other players.

TBR can confirm that talks have been ongoing with Konate’s representatives, and the belief inside the club is that he will soon commit to a new deal.

But, he is not the only one.

We can reveal that talks have been held with both Jones and Bradley in recent weeks, and there is hope that they will put pen to paper soon too.

Konate’s current Liverpool contract expires in the summer of 2026, while Bradley and Jonesdeals run until July 2027.

Two other Liverpool players are about to enter the final year of their contracts

Konate is the big name at Liverpool who will enter the final year of his contract this summer, but work is going on behind the scenes to sort that out.

The Reds also have two other players whose deals run out in 2025.

One of them is goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, who is expected to leave Liverpool this summer with five clubs interested in him, TBR exclusively revealed in February.

The other player is Andy Robertson, who turned 31 in March.

A new left-back is on the Redswish list this summer, and TBR can confirm that Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez is being monitored by Liverpool.

Kerkez will replace Kostas Tsimikas should he come in, but the plan at Liverpool is to replace both of their current left-backs over the next two years.

Robertson could yet get an extension, but he is likely playing for his future.
