The three clubs already offered the chance to sign Marcus Rashford as Man United look to offload him

TBR Football exclusively understands that intermediaries are already speaking to a host of clubs about a prospective January loan deal for Marcus Rashford to leave Manchester United.

Man United have decided to allow Rashford to leave the club within the last week, and the England international has also accepted that he could be leaving Old Trafford in January.

Ruben Amorim famously made the decision to omit Rashford from his squad to face Manchester City last weekend, alongside Alejandro Garnacho.

Right now, Rashford is the club’s highest paid player and including bonuses the forward earns close to £400k-a-week, which limits the number of clubs who could even consider a deal.

Graeme Bailey, TBR’s football correspondent, understands that United would like a permanent deal, but as it stands, there’s little to no interest in that.

The only option in that scenario would be the Saudi Pro League, and Rashford has no interest in moving to Saudi Arabia.

Saudi clubs won’t make a move unless the United star shows an interest in joining them, which as it stands is not forthcoming.

Recently, United have sanctioned loan deals for Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood to help facilitate their departures from the club – and they could do similar with Rashford.

A host of intermediaries are working with United to try and find options, but as it stands, no club has come forward.

However, news of a possible loan deal could very well see interest emerge.

Paris Saint-Germain held an interest in signing Rashford last year, but they are now showing little desire to look at a prospective deal.

Instead, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Fenerbahce are amongst the European giants to have been approached.

What has Marcus Rashford said about leaving Man United?

Rashford himself has expressed publicly that he is ready to leave United in search of a new challenge.

The forward spoke to journalist Henry Winter who published the comments on X, in which he confessed that there will be ‘no hard feelings’.

Rashford said: “If I know that a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse. I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person.

“When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be from me.

“When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings’. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.

“For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.”
