Of course, Everton are not alone, with a host of other clubs said to be keen on the player. However, Everton’s link is fairly difficult to believe.
There is one simple reason why Everton do not need Kurzawa, and that is that they do not need a left-back.
Lucas Digne is, fairly widely agreed to be, Everton’s most consistent player in their current team. The French international is a superior option to Kurzawa and Everton would have absolutely no interest in replacing him.

As back up, Everton have Leighton Baines. Of course, Baines’ contract expires at the end of the season but the Toffees have offered him a new one and most fans are hopeful that the club legend will remain at Goodison Park.
For argument’s sake, let’s say Baines turns down a new deal. Everton are still unlikely to convince the headstrong Kurzawa to come in and play back-up to Digne. Nor should they. He would be on massive wages for a bit-part role. in May, Kurzawa wants approximately £100,000-a-week at his next club.
Instead, Everton have a young talent like Lewis Gibson who could easily step up into the back-up left-back role this summer. Kurzawa simply looks like a no-go and Everton fans can likely forget about this deal happening.
