The Saudi Pro League’s masterplan to tempt Mohamed Salah to leave Liverpool this summer emerges

TBR Football can exclusively reveal that the Saudi Pro League have set a plan aside to persuade Mohamed Salah to leave Liverpool in favour of a move to the Gulf state this summer.

The Saudi Pro League’s interest in Salah is true, as confirmed by the ♌division’s sports director Michael Emenalꦬo in October.

TBR Football previously confirmed that Salah is eyeing a longer contract at Liverpool — with a two or three-year deal being his ideal prioꦐrity.

Mohamed Salah offered Cristiano Ronaldo money by Saudi Pro League

TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has been informed that the Saudi Pro League have prepared to offer Salah a package on par with Cristi൲ano Ronaldo — making him the highest-paid pla𝕴yer in the world.

TBR Football have previously confirmed that the ♔Egyptian international has been the Pro League’s top target since the division’s reboot in 2023 — as a part of the Saudi Vision 2030 proꦡgram backed by the government.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, who are majority owners of Newcastle United went on to take stakes worth 75 per cent in clubs such as Al Hilal, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad. Since then, the Saudi Pro League have been making moves for some of the most high-profil𝔉e players in the world such as Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante with Ronaldo being the marquee name leading the project.

TBR Football revealed Ronaldo could sign for Al Hilal which could allow him to take part in the FIFA Club World Cuꦑp.

The Real Madrid and Manchester United legend could also pen a new deal that could see him earn a whopping £175 million per sꦺeason and also part ownership of Al-Nassr.

Sources have notified TBR Football that Salah, who has impressed Arne Slot has been made aware by his representatives that the deal offered to him is only exclusive to him and not otheꦿr superstars around world football who are♑ attracting interest from Saudi Arabia.

Apart from being paid as well as Ronaldo, the Liverpool legend could similarly be given part ownership of the club he chooses to join. Furthermore, the former Roma goalscorer could also be handed other inducements by the S♓audi Arabian government🌠, including becoming the country’s tourism ambasaddor.

While the Reds would like Salah, still considered underrated to prolonꦛg his legendary spell at Anfield, there has not been an agreement over a contract extension since the past 12 months.

Alongside Omar Marmoush, the Champions League winner is ⭕the only player in Europe’s top five leagues to have amassed over 30 goal contributions in all competitions this campaign — with a staggering 21 goals and 17 assists (38 goal involvements) to his name.

Salah is𝔍 understood to consider a move to Saudi Arabia as the next step in his glittering career but whether the decorated wideman decides to make the move inꩲ the summer of 2025 or in the future remains to be seen.

Salah is determined to win the Premier League this season and his world-class displays are reflective of the revered forward’s single-mindednes𓆉s towards winning major silverware.

But in an interview with Sky Sports earlier this month, the super♏star forward was keen to reiterate that until he is offered a brand-new contract, it rema🎀ins his final season at Liverpool.

Salah said: “If you see my intervie🍸ws, last seven, eight years, I always say Champions League bu♊t this is the first time I say I really want to win the Premier League with Liverpool.”

“Pཧrobably because we didn’t celebrate the one we wo𓃲n with the club the way we wanted and also, it’s my last year in the club because we want to do something special for the city, that was the thing in my head.”

“So far, yeah, it’s the last six months. There is nothing, no progress there, we’re far awa𒈔y from 🅰any progress so we need to wait and see.”
