Manchester City haven’t had the best of luck with injuries this season as Kevin De Bruyne and now Rodri have suffered with issues.
Pep Guardiola‘s side left it late to equalise against Arsenal in the Premier League last time out, which kept the Citizens’ unbeaten start to the season intact.
However, it wasn’t all smiles in the end, as Rodri suffered an injury that is set to see him spend the next six months out on the sidelines.
This has left a huge hole in Guardiola’s midfield and no opportunity to go out and spend money on a replacement.
Kevin De Bruyne is also out injured at the moment, but Pep Guardiola did state recently that he doesn’t believe it will be too long before he’s back.
Interestingly, it appears as if Manchester City already have their eyes on a possible replacement for the Belgian.

Now, it appears as if the Citizens are working on finding a potential replacement.
According to , Jamal Musiala is seen as a serious target by Manchester City.
The youngster is considered a dream signing by both Guardiola and senior figures in the hierarchy, and they are waiting to discover whether any such deal could be possible.
This comes after Manchester City believe that finding a long-term successor to De Bruyne in the squad is, in fact, now one of the club’s main priorities

To have 169 first-team appearances at Bayern Munich at the age of 21 goes to show how talented he really is, with 46 goals and 34 assists to go along with this.
Musiala, who has been hailed as ‘incredible’, has three goals and three assists to his name in six appearances for the German club already this season, fresh off impressing at the Euros in the summer.
However, he will have plenty of choices when it comes to his future.
A contract offer is on the table and could be signed if he decides Bayern Munich are his best option, but the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal are also taking an interest.
