The one rumour Liverpool sources aren’t denying ahead of the summer transfer window

The summer transfer window is just around the corner, and this could be a big period for Liverpool.

Indeed, while the Reds have just won the Premier League title, the Merseyside club aren’t going to rest on their laurels.

Liverpool have been linked with a few exciting signings already this summer.

Alexander Isak has been linked to Liverpool, while Milos Kerkez is on Liverpool’s radar as well.

Some reports have suggested that this could be the biggest summer ever for Liverpool.

Speaking to Sports Mole, David Lynch has been discussing the idea that Liverpool will have a huge summer, and he says that people within Anfield aren’t denying that report.

Liverpool aren’t denying rumour that this summer will be big

Lynch shared what he’s been hearing ahead of this summer transfer window.

The journalist says that the Reds aren’t playing down the idea that this will be a big summer.

The Reds usually manage expectations heading into transfer windows, but they’re willing to let excitement brew ahead of this summer.

“It seems that is the noise coming out of there. I had a conversation with someone at Liverpool a couple of weeks ago and they’re just not playing that down really. Usually it would be all about expectation management, I’m not sure they will love those reports bigging this up to be the biggest summer ever, but, as I say, nobody is playing it down,” Lynch said.

Liverpool’s biggest transfer windows ever

Liverpool could be set for their biggest transfer window ever, and that could mean a huge summer of spending.

Liverpool have held the pursestrings rather tightly in recent times, but we know there is money there to be spent.

Indeed, Liverpool bid £111m to sign Moises Caicedo two years ago, and that cash still hasn’t been spent.

If this is to be Liverpool’s biggest transfer window ever, we could see close to £200m being spent this summer.

This could be a massive summer for Liverpool, and after winning the Premier League this term, there’s no reason why Arne Slot’s side can’t compete on numerous fronts next season.
