‘The new Harvey Barnes?’ – These West Brom fans react to Diangana’s display

West Bromwich Albion came back from a goal down against Luton Town to snatch a 2-1 win on Saturday. The Baggies have Grady Diangana to thank for the three points they took back to the Hawthorns.

The 21-year-old came off of the bench to make his league debut for West Brom. He came on at half time and took just three minutes of the second half to score and level the game. The winger added a second just minutes later to turn the match on its head and send the travelling West Brom fans into raptures. 

The England under-20 international has made a strong claim for a starting spot in Slaven Bilic’s next team. He will certainly receive a huge confidence boost from the impact he was able to have against Luton.

West Brom fans will be hoping that Diangana can build on this start and maintain his form. West Ham fans and Manuel Pellegrini will be watching on with interest too. The forward is a West Ham academy product and is currently on loan at the Hawthorns from the London Stadium.

For now, though, it is the Baggies who are reaping the rewards of Diangana’s talent. After the match, plenty of West Brom fans took to Twitter to celebrate Diangana’s display.
