Raheem Sterling continues miserable run against Manchester United with latest showing for Arsenal
Arsenal went out of the FA Cup against Manchester United on penalties but there was a more concerning continuation of form for on-loan forward, Raheem Sterling.
Sterling came onto the field to replace Gabriel Jesus but had minimal impact on the game as the game went to extra-time and penalties before Kai Havertz’s miss proved decisive to send United through.
In a game that was heated throughout, Havertz angered football fans in general with his dive when up against Harry Maguire and for some🐟, it will have felt t🔴elling the German was the one to miss.

Even more striking is that United are the team Sterling has come up against the most in his caree🎃r, with Tottenham the next on the list at 25 appearances, where Sterling has scored eight times.
Worryingly forꦜ Sterling as well, his record overall against United is negative, with 15 defeats in those 28 games, and just nine wins.
