‘The level of quality’: Frank Lampard now believes £100k-a-week Everton player has been at his peak all year
Everton followed up their fantastic win against Crystal Palace with a commendable away draw to Fulham yesterday.
Frank Lampard’s side created some good chances, but will happy to have kept a clean sheet against an in-form Fulham side.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin had the best chance of the game for the Toffees, but poked his effort wide from a few yards out.
Aleksandar Mitrovic caused Everton’s defence plenty of trouble, although Lampard was insistent he should have been sent off.

Fulham outshot Everton 24 to six last night, but couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net.
Lampard admitted he was very impressed with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who was responsible for keeping Fulham’s attackers at bay.
It was Pickford’s second clean sheet on the bounce and he seems to be hitting form at the perfect time before the World Cup.
However, Lampard believes Pickford has been at his peak since he arrived at the club at the start of the year.
Lampard really impressed with Pickford
“The level of quality to play at that level in the Premier League.
“I’ve played with good keepers and worked with good keepers, and what they do for the game when they’re called upon and today again when we’re slightly off it you get called upon.
“Last week he didn’t have to do much at all, today he had to do his job and he did it well.
“It’s been a long peak because he’s been peaking for a long time for us, since I’ve been at the club.
“It’s not just the Jordan Pickford show, when he produces he wins us a point with some of his saves today.
“I’m not taking anything away from Jordan, he’s England’s number one for a reason, I personally hope he stays that way as I work with him every day and I see not only the talent but the desire to play at the top level every day.”

Lampard was still impressed with Pickford’s performance as they came away from west London with a well-earned point.
is such an important player to Lampard in his Everton side.
His former manager Sam Allardyce has praised Pickford, especially his ‘nerves of steel’.
He left Antonio Conte is complete disbelief with one of the saves he made against Spurs earlier in the month.
Pickford has certainly earned Everton plenty of points on his own during his time at Goodison Park.
He will be upset with his distribution yesterday, which put his side under pressure on multiple occasions in the second half.
The 28-year-old was visibly frustrated with his kicking on several occasions.
It’s an aspect of his game that is normally so good, and he’ll be disappointed with how wayward some of his passes were.
