The four names on Manchester City’s transfer shortlist to replace Rodri in January
Manchester City suffered a damning blow against Arsenal last month.
During the dramatic 1-1 draw, Rodri was forced off through injury and it has since emerged that he’s out foꦚr the seasoᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚn with a rupture to his ACL.
So, Man City are already making plans to rep🍨lace him during the January transfer window as two names on the shortlist are꧂ revealed.

Manchester City interested in Nicolo Barella and Samuele Ricci
According to Italian outlet , Pep Guardiola is eager to bring in a placement for Rodri this winter.
Inter Milan’s Nicolo Barella and Torino’s Samue🧜lle Ricci are being considered by the Citizens, however, it’s thought bringing in the former would be an extremely difficult deaඣl to do.
Inter consider Barella untouchable and it’d take 💝an offer in excess of £58m to even bring them to the negotiating♉ table.
So it appears Ricci is a much more attainable target for ꦐCity, especially mid-season.
Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi and♏ Atalanta’s Eﷺderson are also thought to be on Guardiola’s shortlist.

Man City should consider Adam Wharton
Manchester City should add Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton🥂 to their transfer shortlist, too.
Wharton has been a revelation for The Eagles sinc💙e during from Blackburn Rovers earlier this year and even made England’s Euro 2024 squad.
He’s not ha♛d the best start to the season but perhaps that will favour City, as his stock isn’t quite as high meaning he could be available ꦦfor a more reasonable fee.
