The Premier League has always been a division that has been renowned for having incredible goalscorers.

From Alan Shearer to Harry Kane, the Premier League’s list of elite goalscorers is virtually endless.

🌜Whether that be through traditional strikers, productive wingers or goalscoring midfielders, fans and pundits alike that religiously tune into the English top-flight are rewarded with goals galore.

🧸However, there have been five players who have scored the most goals in the Premier League in 2024, standing above the best of the rest.

5. Ollie Watkins

Ollie Watkinsꦬ was the fifth-highest goalscorer in the Premier League in 2024.

Watkins has had an incredible year, for both club and country but for Aston Villaℱ in particular, establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s best strikers.

🎶Scoring 17 goals in 34 league appearances for Villa, the Englishman has been nothing short of a revelation.

Despite Jhon Duran taking Watkins’ place🍸 in the side, the latter remains the Villains’ most seasoned striker and based on the year that he has had, it would take a wise man to write him off.

4. Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah𝓰 is having a phenomenal season, as he looks determined to lead Arne Slot to the league title in his debut campaign as Liverpool boss.

♐Injuries and being in and out of Jurgen Klopp’s side during the second half of the previous term meant Salah dropped off at the start of the year.

However, the Egyptian still managed to score 18 goals in 28 league appearances for Liverpool 🅷in 2024, which is yet another reminder of the one-of-a-kind goalscorer he is.

Anthony Gordon hailed Salah🍰 as the greatest winger in Premier League history and he is showing time and again why his name merits being mentioned amongst the very best the English game has ever witnessed.

Alexander Isak🅘 is one of the few players in world football who blends inarguable efficiency with incredible flair.

The Newcastle United♓ striker can attest to entertaining football fans across the world while always being bankable as a goalscorer.

🌳Scoring 25 league goals in 31 appearances for the Magpies in 2024, the Swedish international has been operating at elite levels.

𝓡The frightening prospect about the 22-year-old’s time at Stamford Bridge is that he still has plenty of time left before he reaches his prime.

1. Erling Haaland

Unsurprisingly, Erling Haalandꦕ outscored every other player in the Premier League in 2024.

With 26 goals to his name in 33 league appearances, the Manchester City📖 striker showed once again why he is one of the best natural goalscorers English football has ever laid its eyes on.

Since Haaland told Mikel Arteta to “stay humble”ౠ after City’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal, he has scored three league goals in 12 games.

ꦐYet, the Norwegian showed once again at the end of the year that he is the league’s and possibly even European football’s outstanding goalscorer.
